Mi 10 series specifications Different prices Confirmed model. The phones have the quad rear camera setup that includes the 108-megapixel primary sensor. The Mi 10 Pro, by contrast, has a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 50W wired fast charging, 30W wireless fast charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging as well.

However, to give a perspective, the Mi 10 was launched in China with an initial price of CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 42,300), while the Mi 10 Pro debuted at an initial price of CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs. 53,000).

10 Pro Just over a day ago, Samsung unveiled a series of its flagship Galaxy S20, and today in China during a special online broadcast (due to the coronavirus they decided not to hold a regular event), Xiaomi presented its answer in the form of Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro devices.

The heart of both devices is the powerful 7nm single-chip Snapdragon 865 system, complemented by the Snapdragon X55 modem (it supports work in networks with SA and NSA architecture). Smartphones received a new design: by analogy with the flagships of Samsung, they are endowed with a screen curved to the edges. Mi 10 is available in silver-black, peach-gold and snow-blue colors.

The older Pro model is available in blue and white. The display itself is also curious: it is AMOLED (2340 × 1080) with a frequency of 90 Hz (the frequency of the sensor layer is 180 Hz) and perforation under the front camera in the upper left corner (the hole diameter is only 4.08 mm).

There is support for HDR10 +, 4096 levels of brightness control, extended color gamut and the function of reducing flicker at low brightness (using DC technology Dimming). Under the screen is a fingerprint scanner. Other important innovations include the LPDDR5 RAM (from Micron and Samsung) and the UFS 3.0 high-speed drive (recording speed increased to 730 MB / s).

The key differences between Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro relate to the rear camera. Both devices are capable of writing video to the main camera in 8K resolution at 30 frames / s, support video editing using AI, support the HEIF photo format, and so on. Other differences between smartphones relate to the battery. The younger model received a 4780 mAh battery and 30 W high-speed charging technology (full replenishment of the capacity takes 65 minutes).

The older Mi 10 Pro is endowed with a slightly less capacity battery at 4500 mAh, but with support for 50-W charging, the entire procedure takes 45 minutes. Both retained support for 10-W wireless charging, including reverse. Also, the differences between the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are in the configuration of the memory: the younger model received a drive up to 256 GB, and the oldest – up to 512 GB.

Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro have identical dimensions of 162.6 × 74.8 × 8.96 mm and weight of 208 grams, are endowed with an NFC module, Game Turbo 3.0 technology and run Android 10 with a proprietary MIUI 11 shell. Let’s talk about prices of Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi10 Pro The cost of Xiaomi Mi 10 in China is 3,999 yuan (about $ 574) for the base version of 8/128 GB, 4,299 yuan ($ 617) for 8/256 GB and 4,699 yuan ($ 674) for 12/256 GB.

The phone will go on sale in China on February 14th. At the same time, the cost of Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is significantly higher: 4999 yuan (about $ 717) for the base version of 8/256 GB, 5499 yuan ($ 789) for 12/256 GB and 5999 yuan ($ 860) for 12/256 GB. Sales of the device in China will begin on February 18. Of course, $ 860 for the most advanced model is still significantly lower than that of the S20, but the new devices of the Chinese company can no longer be called cheap or even affordable.
